places to visit in the Stratford areas. Stratford is a small town
surrounded by glorious rural countryside, the colour of which
changes from deep greens of spring and winter to the golden
harvest yellow of summer and autumn. There are many beautiful
small villages each with their own charm and history. The roads
and byways are quiet, the natives are friendly and the inns
plentiful.

To the South – The Cotswolds

The hills of the Cotswolds of Gloucestershire start just south
of Stratford with Chipping Campden, an historic major town.
This is the old market town, where woollen merchants traded
for hundreds of years. Unaffected by the industrial revolution,
you can enjoy old England as it was since the 1700’s. The Cotswolds
are famous for the honey-blond stone buildings. The whole town
of Chipping Campden is built of it, and is a typical example of the
entire district.
